Veracite compares bibliographic references with external databases. Coverage depends on the databases selected and available at the time of verification. Pricing, billing, availability, liability, and governing-law terms require final legal review before production launch.

What the verdicts mean

Verified means only that at least one checked database contains a record with sufficiently similar bibliographic metadata. It does not confirm the claims made by the cited work, that all metadata is correct, or the status of retractions and corrections unless expressly displayed. No reliable match means only that the selected databases returned no sufficiently similar record at the time of verification; it does not mean the publication is fabricated or does not exist.
