Withdrawal policy

1. Who has the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. We extend the same right, on the terms below, to all consumers regardless of country of residence.

Your purchase contract is concluded with our reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd (merchant of record). You can exercise your right of withdrawal against Paddle or through us — either way it counts.

2. Withdrawal instruction

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day of your purchase.

How to withdraw. To exercise the right, inform us (thinkerlab GmbH, Zielstrasse 25, 9050 Appenzell, Switzerland, hello@veracite.ch) or Paddle (via the buyer portal linked in your receipt, or paddle.net) of your decision by an unequivocal statement — an e-mail is sufficient. You may use the model form in section 5, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice before the 14 days expire.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, all payments received from you for the purchase will be refunded without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day the notice is received, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you. The refund is issued by Paddle as merchant of record.

3. Early performance and expiry of the right

Veracite is a digital service. At checkout you can request that the service start immediately, before the withdrawal period ends. If you do, the following applies, as permitted by law:

If you withdraw after the service has begun but before it is fully performed, you owe a proportionate amount for what was already provided, and the rest is refunded.
The right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed.

What this means for each product:

Subscriptions (Individual, Pro).

If you withdraw within 14 days of the initial purchase, you receive a refund reduced by the proportion of the billing period that has already elapsed. Renewals of an existing subscription are not new contracts and carry no new withdrawal period — but you can cancel at any time in your account settings with effect from the end of the current billing period.

Thesis Pass and credit packs.

If you withdraw within 14 days, you receive a refund reduced proportionately by the checks you have already used. Once all checks in a pass or pack have been used, the service is fully performed and the right expires.

4. Statutory rights

This policy does not limit any warranty or other rights the law grants you. Refund requests outside the withdrawal right — for example, when something went wrong on our side — can always be sent to info@veracite.ch.
