Withdrawal policy

1. Who has the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. We extend the same right, on the terms below, to all consumers regardless of country of residence.

Your purchase contract is concluded with the Paddle entity identified at checkout, acting as merchant of record. You can exercise your right of withdrawal against Paddle or through us — either way it counts.

2. Withdrawal instruction

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day of your purchase.

How to withdraw. To exercise the right, inform us (thinkerlab GmbH, Zielstrasse 25, 9050 Appenzell, Switzerland, info@veracite.ch) or Paddle (via the buyer portal linked in your receipt, or paddle.net) of your decision by an unequivocal statement — an e-mail is sufficient. You may use the model form in section 5, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice before the 14 days expire.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, all payments received from you for the purchase will be refunded without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day the notice is received, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you. The refund is issued by Paddle as merchant of record.

3. Early performance and expiry of the right

Veracite is a digital service. Starting to use it does not by itself waive your right of withdrawal. The following exceptions apply only where the law permits them and the required express request, consent and acknowledgement were obtained before performance began.

A proportionate deduction for services already supplied is possible only if you expressly requested early performance and received the required information. Otherwise, your statutory refund rights remain unaffected.
The right can expire after full performance only if you gave the legally required prior express consent and acknowledged that full performance would end that right. We do not treat use of the service alone as that acknowledgement.

What this means for each product:

Subscriptions (Individual, Pro).

For withdrawal within 14 days of the initial purchase, any deduction for elapsed service is subject to the conditions above. Renewal and withdrawal rights follow applicable mandatory law. Separately, you can cancel renewal at any time in account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Thesis Pass and credit packs.

For withdrawal within 14 days, any deduction for used checks is subject to the conditions above. Using all checks does not automatically remove your withdrawal right: the legally required prior consent and acknowledgement must also have been obtained.

4. Statutory rights

This policy does not limit any warranty or other rights the law grants you. Refund requests outside the withdrawal right — for example, when something went wrong on our side — can always be sent to info@veracite.ch.
